We hear that a special screening of the movie was arranged for our Superstar Rajinikanth. He had watched and is reported to have said he loved the movie except for its tragic climax.

Rajini it seems was a bit skeptical about having a tragic climax and had advised his daughter Aishwarya who is making her directorial debut with this movie to change it and have a positive ending.

Aishwarya Dhanush has taken in to consideration the thoughtful comments her father had provided and we need to wait and see if the director would have a happy ending or the sad one.

But sources close to the Alex Pandian film unit say that it is a comedy film and title comes with the tagline – Thirudan. Alex Pandian is directed by Suraaj and is produced by Studio Green. Santhanam plays an important role in this film.

Ajith’s next will be for Vishnuvardhan. After completing this project, he is expected to team up with RS Infotainment. The director and other cast and crew will be finalized only after the star completes Billa 2 and Vishnuvardhan’s project.

On interrogation Anjaneyan agreed that he was married and when the marriage turned bitter, he filed for a divorce and that the case is impending in a Kozhikode civil court. Anjaneyan is said to have entered wedlock in 2008 and filed for a divorce in 2009.

If the film meets the huge hype created, then surely RS Infotainment, producers of Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal will laugh all their way to the bank.

They have left no stone unturned in marketing the film. The craze and hungama is mounting with each passing hour and the 360 degree promotions is one of the biggest ever marketing blitzkrieg for any Tamil film in recent times.

Vada Chennai has been in news for Rana Daggubati's walk out and the film which had undergone a day's workshop for the cast and crew has Simbu and Andrea Jeremiah in pivotal roles.

Interestingly if Nayantara is roped in to the casting, she might have a chance to work alongside her ex boyfriend Simbu! After her reported break up with Prabhu Deva, we guess Nayantara is on a vengeance to hit back in to movies.

Simbu who has worked with Nayantara in Vallavan, Simbu had even said that he has no issues in working with her again. We hear that Nayantara might consider the offer too, as Vetrimaran is keen in bringing the hit pair again on screen.

Vada Chennai has music by GV Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Velraj.

If Karthi plays Kamal in his upcoming political satire film Saguni, he will be playing Alex Pandian ( a role remembered played by Rajini in the cop story Moondru Mugam).

The film also stars Santhanam, Nikitha Thukral, Akansha Puri, Renigunta fame Sanusha Sree, Milind Soman, Rajkpaoor, Suman, Manobala amongst others. The film has been shot in Chalukudy, Vishakapatnam, Karnataka, Hyderabad.

It was but natural for the media to think that it was the Venkat-Suriya film, as they had planned to come together.

However that film will be done by Venkat only after he completes his film with Suriya.

Venkat Prabhu himself has tweeted – “ Just to clear rumours!! My next is with Studio Green! The official announcement by this month end.”

He has not named Suriya as the hero, leaving the production house to make the official announcement.

Interestingly, Deepika was roped in for Rana last year but the project was halted after Rajini's health conditions deteriorated. He was later hospitalized and regained his health, it is worth mentioning here.

Rana has now been put on hold and Soundarya Rajinikanth decided to direct Kochadaiyaan with her dad playing the lead role. KS Ravi Kumar, the director of Rana, is penning the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film.

The singer, famed for her mellifluous voice is 74 years old. Her immediately family has rushed to Thirupathi to be with her. The entire film industry is shocked by the news and prayers and well wishes are being offered for her recovery.
