The latest piece of news to hear on her is that Nayan, who had earlier worked with the 7aam Arivu star in Aadhavan and Ghajini, will be doing an item number in Surya's upcoming movie Singam 2.
Rumours are rife that Nayantara has been approached by the makers of Singam 2 for the special number in the movie. The early buzz says that she has not signed on the dotted lines, but the actress has given her verbal consent. It is said that Hari was the director, who introduced the 26-year-old girl to Tamil cinema in Ayya. It is this reason, which has made the actress to agree to give a nod for the item number.
However, Singam 2, which is a sequel to Singam, also stars Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. The movie produced by KE Gnanavel Raja will hit the screens next summer.
