The situation in the advertisement is of course about Poornima and Bhagyaraj cooking a family favourite dish using the brand of oil. And you know what the major ingredient of the dish cooked is? The vegetable Bhagyaraj made famous in his film ‘Mundhanai Mudichu’. That is murungakai (drumstick).

Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for this film produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under Red Giant Movies banner. Kamal has scripted the story and screenplay and also composed some lyrics for this film, a major part of which is being shot in Italy, Spain, and Greece.

Incidentally, Jayalalithaa did not notice actor Vijay who was also present at the occasion. She saw Vijay only after she got into her car. She immediately called Vijay to her car and spoke to him for some time. She also wished Vijay luck for his forthcoming movies.

Reportedly the film was originally planned with Silambarasan in the lead. "Vettai will be made on a big budget by producers Dhayanidhi Alagiri and Vivek Ratnavel. The shooting will start in the first week of December and completed by mid March. We are planning to release the film as a big summer release in May 2011," he added.

Sources say that the shooting of this commercial will begin in Chennai and both the stars will participate in it.

First there was news from Kasthoori Raja that Sonia will be making her re-entry through one of his films.

But now we have confirmed news saying Sonia Agarwal is homecoming with the upcoming film ‘Vaanam’ starring Silambarasan, Prakash Raj, Bharath, Anushka and Sneha Ullal.

In ‘Vaanam’, Sonia plays the wife of Prakash Raj. ‘Vaanam’ is the Tamil remake of the super hot Telugu film ‘Vedam’ directed by Krish. The Tamil version is also directed by Krish himself.

‘Vaanam’ is many stories spun together beautifully. All the stars have equal screen space so Sonia is there to make an impact again. More over Sonia will have a song and more scenes than what was there for her role in the Telugu original.

Interestingly Sonia was approached for the same role when the original ‘Vedam’ was conceived. But she could not take it for private reasons. Sonia‘s last film in Tamil ‘Thiruttu Payale’ was three years ago and it was the biggest hit if that year.

Superstar Rajinikanth and glamorous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are in the lead and it is expected to release on September 24.

Tamil actress Yuvarani has denied the allegations about her involvement in a sex scandal video tape withNithyananda. Earlier, Yuvarani’s name was pulled into the Nithyananda’s sex saga claiming that she was involved in a sexual relationship with him. But there were no confirmednews reports or proof on the existence of such a video tape.

According to a popular news website India-Server.com, “The two actresses Ranjitha & Yuvarani used to accompany him to striptease parties in the US. Nithyananda used to don cool denim jeans and T-shirts whenever he was there.”

Yuvarani denies links with Nithyananda

Tamil actress Yuvarani has denied the allegations about her involvement in a sex tape with Swami Nithyananda. She has said that she not involved in any such activities with Nithyananda. Denying all the reports of her links with the godman, the actress said that she knew him as a Swami like others.

Earlier, Yuvarani's name was dragged into the swami sex saga claiming that she was involved in a sexual relationship with Nithyananda. But there were no confirmed reports on the existence of such a tape.

The godman has already been slapped with several charges including rape, cheating, unnatural sex among others. Karnataka police is hunting for the godman, whose sex scandal came to light on March 2 when a sleazy video showing the Swamiji in a compromising position with Tamil actress Ranjitha hit the media.

The wait in Kollywood has also turned fruitful as Lekha is the main protagonist in Va – Quarter Cutting. Speaking about her role in this film, Lekha says that she plays a 19-year-old with suicidal intentions.

Now, the news is out that the Jai Ho tour resumes this weekend (September 11) in North America. Vidhyasagar has scored music for the film while Ekambaram of ‘Iyarkai’ has handled cinematography. The role played by director Siddique in original version will be enacted by Vadivelu in this remake version.

The scenes involving college sequences are being shot at VIT College in Vellore and the shooting will wrap up after this schedule.
