The couple had been in love for long but Reemma had denied it all along saying that they were just friends. Apparently, Shiv Karan proposed marriage to Reemma recently and the actress agreed. The wedding and other ceremonies associated with it will take place at the groom’s farm house in Delhi. Reemma and Shiv Karan’s high-profile friends from the film industry and other business circles will grace the occasion, which is scheduled to take place on March 11th.

Actor Ajith came with his wife and daughter. Like father, little Anoushka is a complete charmer. She was seen having a good time with the other guests present there.

He is keen on getting Nayan to play the lead role along with Ajith as it is now clear that she is looking to make a comeback. It may be mentioned here that there is news that Nayan’s relationship with Prabhu Deva has fizzled out and the actress wants to get back to her career.

The Anjathey actor said that he thought Sneha was a talented actress and it would be a shame for her to waste her talent. He said that he will always respect her career choices and be supportive even after their marriage. Sneha will be seen in Kochadaiyaan and a Sarath Kumar film called Vidiyal.

He said that the success of the song had made many people ask him about his friends. He recalled one Murugesan who is now a professor in SSN college Chennai. However, he said that all these factors were not in his mind when he penned that song. But, he was happy that the song was now inspiring many people to get the contact details of their long lost friends and contact them.

Finally, he was asked about the enormous success of the ‘Kolaveri’ song and the standard of lyrics in that particular number. To this he diplomatically answered that he did not wish to make any comment on that matter!

It's also speculated that Studio Green will be producing the film. Suriya's Maatraan is nearing completion and by then Venkat Prabhu is likely to have a script ready for narration. An announcement will be out after that, a source close to the director mentioned.

The couple were blessed with their first girl child on the 20th of January at around 5.30 PM at a private hospital in Chennai.

Both the Mother and the child are health and might get discharged from the hospital after a few days stets sources. The couple were married on July 4th 2011. It may be noted that Selvaraghavan was married to actress Sonia Agarwal earlier before divorcing her in 2009.

Interestingly Lara Duta who is married to Mahesh Bhupathi also delivered her first girl child on the 20th of January. Seems like there is a lot of girl power in the filmdom, as even Aishwarya Rai gave birth to a girl baby nicknamed Beti B last year.

Meanwhile director Selavarghavan who was happy with his last release Mayakkam Enna, has started work on his next film Irandam Ulagam with Arya and Anushka Shetty in the lead. We hear that the filmmaker will take a break before resuming work on the film by February.

Says Ananya, "It was my constant decision to leave my marriage to my parents' choice. When Anjaneyan and his family members approached elders in my family with the wedding proposal, my parents found him as the right man."

The engagement ceremony of Ananya and Anjaneyan is being organized at the actress's house at Perumbavur near Ernakulam. Wedding date is expected to be fixed during the betrothal function, which will be attended by close relatives and friends.

"I don't know whether I will continue acting or not after wedding. Anjaneyan has to decide on that," says Ananya, who is currently acting in a film titled 'Iravum Pagalum'. "I am happy about my parents' choice," she concludes.

Since the movie has 4 lead girls, actors seem to get cold feet fearing for less prominence. Lakshmi Rai and Meghna Raj were approached but that did not work out, it is learnt. Last heard, the hunt is still on.

Now the latest buzz is that the actor is trying to rope in pop siren Shakira for the song. We will have to wait and see whether the international singing icon will accept to be a part of this project.

Suriya and Kajal Agarwal play the lead pair in Matraan, which is directed by KV Anand. Sachin Khedekar plays the villain. The film has been shot extensively in Russia and is said to have some great visuals. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music for Maatraan.

The wait has been worth it for actor Vijay, who has gone pressed the celebration buttons in full joy post his Nanban release. The movie a remake attempt of the original Bollywood flick 3 idiots, by Director Shankar, has already been called a blockbuster hit, being received with open arms by Vijay fans across the state. Celebrating his Nanban success the Nanban hero threw open a grand party at his very own seaside villa on the East Coast Road,Chennai. Actor Jeeva told his fans, “Had a get together cine success party at Vijay anna’s place Director Shankar,Resul Pookutty,Srikanth, Nanban team and myself had a blast and fun filled time…” Resul Pookutty who joined the 3 sets after the Nanban collaboration, excitedly says, “Met actor Vijay & Nanban team for dinner yesterday night. All of them are such lovely, down to earth and humble people. No wonder they are such a huge success.”

Kochadaiyaan will be Rajini’s first film after his recovery and the film is to be directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. KS Ravi Kumar is taking care of the story, screenplay and dialogues for Kochadaiyaan.

The film will have music by the Oscar winner AR Rahman.
