Major Ravi reportedly met Kavya recently and discussed the story with her. Kavya is rumoured to be have promised the director that she would confirm her participation in the film by the end of September. If this happens, Kavya Madhavan will be seen as an IPS officer Neelambari in daytime, and at night, she will become a blood-sucking witch!

An edge-of-the-seat spine-chilling fantasy thriller, Maadan Kolli will star Prithviraj as the hero. Sunil Parameswaran, well known for his stories based on supernatural themes like Ananthabhadram, is the script writer. Ace cameraman Thiru is the cameraman. The film is produced by Vysakha Films Rajan. Maadan Kolli will start rolling in December and will be a 2010 Vishu release.

Much has been speculated about the causes of rift. One theory says Nischal and his authoritative mom gave little freedom to Kavya and pestered her to join the films again because of financial troubles in their house. Another theory says Nischal’s suspicious nature was the cause of friction between the couple. It is believed that Nischal’s lack of will to create a career for himself also didn’t go down well with Kavya.

Meanwhile, Kavya and Nischal are refraining from talking to the media. Clearly, the couple is not in the mood to wash the dirty linen publicly.

Kavya had come to Kerala early July for the finishing touches of Malayalam movie ‘Ee Pattanathil Bhootham’ and has not returned to her husband’s house in Kuwait. There were also reports that she has attempted a suicide, but that has been strongly denied by her parents.
