Gorgeous Rambha's first venture as a producer came in 2003 with Three Roses (2003), starring Jyotika, Laila and Rambha in the three lead characters. But the film turned out to be a bitter experience for Rambha, when she had a fight with Jyotika regarding remuneration during the shoot, and the film turned out to be a big flop. Rambha could not recover from the loss and had to sell her house in Chennai to pay off the debts.

A fire in AVM studios last week brought the Vijay-Anushka starrer Vettaikaran shoot to a sudden halt. Starting on an elaborate set for a Vijay TV reality show, the flames spread to the seventh floor where a set had been erected for Vettaikaran.

Has she already donned a bikini act in a movie? That is yet unknown, but could well happen pretty soon!

Seems like an old ghost is coming back to haunt Shankar and director Balaji Sakthivel, the hit-maker director of Kadhal. The director of St. Joseph School Ms. Jeyarani has lodged a complaint against the producer and director of Kadhal mentioning that since the movie was told to be a real-life story, the parents of the school children assumed that the school was also part of the incidents happened. This trigged anxious enquiries from the parents ruining the peace of the school and its director.

Now, you will really pooh-pooh the actress to turn down such a delicious offer. But yes, the sizzling Nayantara has refused a role in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’. It seems the actress was approached by the director’s wife Suhasini, on his behalf, to offer her a role of Mandodhari, the wife of Raavana, in the movie. Some sources say that she declined that offer claiming it to be a de-glamorised role. Whereas, some say that the actress, who is already committed to other projects, has no dates to spare for this one. If this is the case, we can understand how much upset Nayantara will be to say 'no' to Mani sir.

Hmm, that’s really bad. Else, it would have been wonderful to see Nayantara joining the other high profiled stars in the movie.

Actor Aarya has become busy these days shooting for many films simultaneously at the same time. Apart from ‘Madrasapattinam’ and ‘Chikku Bhukku’, he has been filming for Malayalam film and Telugu films too. On the pars, Nayanthara too is busy with hectic schedules of Surya starrer ‘Aadhavan’.
