In her alleged 'hate speech’, Vijayashanti had allegedly said that chop off the hands of those who oppose the formation of the separate state of Telangana.

She has been charged under section 53-A (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth and residence) and 505(2) (Statements creating or promoting enmity, ill-will or hatred between classes).

Naan Mahan Alla, directed by Suseendran of Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu fame, is expected to showcase the romantic side of Karthi in a script designed by Suseendran and backed by the music of Yuvanshankar Raja. And for the first time in their careers, Tollywood sensation Kajal Agarwal will team up with Karthi in this film. The latest buzz is that Durai Dhayanidhi's Cloud Nine Movies has acquired the release rights of this film.

Reportedly, the film will be dubbed and released in Telugu simultaneously.

To make his producer tag stronger Arya has bought over all the rights of his upcoming film ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ from its producer Vasan Visual Ventures. The film stars Arya and Nayantara in lead roles. It is a comedy and one of the anticipated films of the year as the pre-release talk is extremely good. It is directed by Rajesh of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The unit of ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ is currently in Switzerland for the shooting of final songs. Santhanam’s comedy track is also said to be a key positive of the film. ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ is likely to be released by the end of this month.

When news about Asin flying down to Sri Lanka to take part in the shooting of Salman Khan-starrer Ready started making rounds, there was a lot of opposition. The actress, on the other hand, stated that it was not her preference but she had to go with the crew of the film.

An important schedule of Kavalkaran is due to start in Chennai from July 12 in which Asin is likely to take part. So Vijay and producers of the film has to sort out the “Asin issue” at the earliest.
