Hero Udayanidhi Stalin (debuted with OKOK) happens to be grandson of ex-CM Karunanidhi. In his upcoming film ‘Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal‘, Nayantara is playing his heroine and the recently released poster of that film is a hot topic now.

Seen in a deep skin hugging traditional chudidhar, the dress folds on the back of Nayantara at the place where hero is touch her are an element of interest for now. We have to see what more she will offer in movie.

Actor Udhaynidhi Stalin‘s next film as actor has been titled Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal, and the first look of the film has been released. As expected, it is being directed by Sundarapandian fame Prabhakaran. The movie is set to start rolling by the end of January and we will soon see more from the crew.

Just like the actor-producer wanted, the team have roped in Nayanthara to play the lead in the film. The actress is looking to make a comeback in Tamil cinema after being out for a while.

Harris Jeyaraj will be composing the music and has already started working on a few numbers. This will be the second film for Udhay after OKOK and will be under his banner Red Giant Movies

Speculations are rife about Ileana‘s live-in relationship with an Australian who is also a professional photographer. The man in focus is none other than Andrew. Both Ileana and Andrew were spotted at several award ceremonies recently and the poses given for the photographer have given scope for rumormongers. A fresh gossip about the couple celebrating New Year together and Ileana introducing her boyfriend to family is doing rounds.

Worried Samira cleared the air by saying her daughter has no time for love and Andrew is just a good friend. She also confirmed the reports of Ileana signing three more Bollywood projects opposite bankable stars.

Considering the title and the tag line, the film would have Vijay as a leader of a revolution. The film features Sathyaraj, Santhanam, Suresh, Manobala, Ponvannan, Abhimanyu and others in prominent roles. It is also said that a leading yesteryear actress will be seen in a pivotal role.

The opening song of the film will be shot at a huge set erected by art director Sunil Haswas at Mumbai Samasthan Studios. The song which begins 'Thalaivaa.... Thalaivaa' with the lyrics of Na. Muthukumar, will be shot with more than 500 dancers shaking legs along with Vijay.

So far, the crew has completed filming 2 songs and three fight sequences. After completing a lengthy 50-day schedule in Mumbai, the crew will fly to Spain for canning important portions of the film.

Director's AL Vijay's regulars like cinematographer Nirav Shah, music director G.V Prakash and editor Anthony are part of the crew. Shobi, Dinesh and Chinni Prakash will handle the choreography, while Stunt Siva will choreograph the fight sequences. The film is produced by S. Chandraprakash Jain under Sri Mishri Productions and is touted to be a May 2013 release.

But interestingly, the latest update is the versatile actor Prakash Raj will be replacing Surya as the host!

A source close to the channel informs, “Surya will not be hosting the second season. Prakash Raj has been approached to take over as the host this time. An official confirmation will be sent out in January.

When Surya was quizzed he also told media, “I am unable to accommodate time for this season. I enjoyed working on the first season of the show.”

Though Prakash Raj was not approachable, his wife Pony Verma confirmed that the channel has approached him and the decision is yet to be made final.

The ads are already up in the channel and the questions are being shown for the audience to participate in the quiz game show.

Arvind Swamy, who opted out of film industry to continue his business career, made a special appearance in Mani Ratnam's 'Alaipayuthey'. He will be seen playing a key supporting role besides Lakshmi Manchu and Thambi Ramaiah, Pasupathy and Ponvannan.

The film is also talked about for its technical crew which includes AR Rahman for music, Rajiv Menon for cinematography and A. Sreekar Prasad for editing.

This new project will be Gautham’s home production and it will focus on international issues. A majority of the film will be filmed in international locations to gel with the subject.

Suriya is currently busy completing Singam 2 and he has also signed on for Lingusamy’s next with Samantha as his pair.

It was said that Dhanush will be making a guest appearance in the film and now it has been confirmed that it will be an item song titled 'Kuthu' featuring Nayanthara too. The song will be choreographed by Bhaskar. This will be Nayan's third item song in Kollywood after “Kodambakkam area” in Sivakasi and “Ballelakka” in Sivaji.

Dhanush has also written and sung a song under Anirudh Ravichander's composition. The film's audio launch will be held on the 14th of December in Chennai and the audio rights have been bagged by Sony.

Ethir Neechal has Sivakarthikeyan, Priya Anand and Nandita in lead roles. Velraj is handling the cinematography, Noor Azwan is editing the film and Dhanush's Wunderbar films is bankrolling the project.
