To be directed by KV Anand, this mammoth project is generating a tidal wave of expectations even before work has started. Fresh from the resounding success of Ko, KV Anand has become one of the hottest directors in tinsel town and all eyes are on him.
Meanwhile, Suriya is currently wrapping up work on 7am Arivu and will turn his entire attention to Maatran once that is done. KV Anand is content to wait, soaking up the appreciation coming his way post Ko and putting the finishing touches on the script for Maatran. Suriya will be seen in five different avatars for this film and the hunt is on for the leading lady. Kajal Agarwal and Samantha are being considered, we hear.
Harris Jayaraj will team up with KV Anand to do the music for this film and Kalpathi S Aghoram will be the producer.
